U S spies caught and jailed by Soviet system
Pravda reports two American spies Vladimir Constanovich alai and Juri Khramizev were sentenced to 25 years in a Soviet corrective labor camp near Murmansk after admitting guilt. They trained in an American intelligence school in Austria and Germany and aided by Norwegian officials were smuggled into Murmansk.

Six Die as Guatemala Police Try To Arrest Farm Workers

Simulated mass attack drill targets 54 cities in North America
Fifty four American and Canadian cities are listed for a two day mock attack code named Operation Alert.
