Work on fueling the trans Atlantic Friendship started at 730 this morning as Stultz Earhart and Gordon prepared for today’s projected hop across the Atlantic with favorable northeast breeze aiding takeoff. The crew tested radio sets and studied wind and course for lifting off from the harbor water. Stultz remains chief pilot while Earhart or Gordon could relieve him as needed.
