Senate committee released its final preconvention report detailing presidential campaign expenditures totaling 731 087.75 with Hoover accounting for 380 822.11. The panel examined fifteen candidates and will review further primary and election expenses after the convention.
A statement from Dr. Isaiah Bowman of the American Geographical Society says Captain George Wilkins and Commander Richard E. Byrd coordinate their Antarctic flights rather than race. The cabinet pledged protection for Japanese nationals in Manchuria and Mongolia and to remain neutral regarding leadership in China and Manchuria.
Flight crews led by Charles Kingsford-Smith prepare for a 1750 mile leg from Naselai Fiji to Brisbane. The team, including Lum Lyon Warner, will depart on a sand runway rated as world class, after a Hawaii to Sydney stretch and a Pacific hotel celebration with gifts and floral tributes.
