Miss Eldora Haworth honored Miss Martha Wells of Greensboro at a Saturday buffet at the Haworth home on Asheboro Road. The event featured pink green and white decor, accordian music by Dan McConnell, and a surprise miscellaneous shower with gifts for the engaged couple and Miss Wells.
Miss Barbara Anne Dunivant and James Finison of Greensboro wed at Glenwood Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas H. Swofford officiating. The ceremony featured a white Swiss organdy gown, pearl and orange blossom details, and a reception at the bride’s home. The couple will reside at 902 South Aycock Street, Greensboro. The bride is a Pilot Life Insurance stenographer and Greensboro High School alumna. the groom, a Greensboro High School and University of South Carolina graduate, works at the Greensboro Central fire station.
