Adults blamed for youth unrest at Methodist conference
At the Southeastern Conference of United Methodist Laymen in Lake Junaluska, sheriff Bill Morris of Memphis and Millsaps Dye of Atlanta urged adults to reform society and set better examples. They contended youth unrest stems from adults’ dual standards, economic motives, and disregard for morality, urging parents to reconcile actions with beliefs and engage with today’s youth.
