Dr. Karl Menninger resigns as manager of the Veterans Administration hospital at Topeka Kansas effective July 25. Dr. Frank Casey of Goldsboro North Carolina will succeed him, having served since January 1 1946 as hospital chief of professional services. Menninger will direct the Menninger Foundation in Topeka and chair the dean's committee while remaining a senior consultant at the VA hospital. Dr. Casey is a Guilford College graduate who has worked at VA facilities in Lexington Perry Point Gulfport and Topeka.
