First Lutheran service kicks off new Archdale church
The first service of the new Lutheran Church in Archdale will be held Sunday morning at 1. Huggins, the pastor, leads in the home of Jacob N. Wagner at 313 Tar Heel Dr off Highway 311. The basement has become a small church with an altar, pulpit, hymnals, pews and furnishings. Up to 50 persons have joined, with more expected, as Rev.
