The Wesleyan Methodist church will be erected at the intersection of Newton Meadow and Chestnut streets funded by proceeds from Emma L Hayworth’s bequest. Rev Edwin M Graham, head of the North Carolina annual conference, aims to dedicate the new edifice within three months as the tent revival in High Point closes with record attendance and sixteen conversions.
