Randolph County approves first budget in 14 years
Randolph County Commission Chairman William Farlow announced approval of the 1971 72 budget totaling 8 110 204 12 with no property tax increase though some departments sought more. Schools welfare and Medicaid dominate spending while the county contemplates a water sewer bond and state wide votes. Randolph Public Library receives 100 000.
