Two Pinkerton Guards Shot Dead at Williston High School

In Wilmington North Carolina an AP report states Pinkerton guards Ervin Padrick 68 of Wilmington and James Flowers 28 of Leland were found shot dead at Williston Junior High School before classes. Flowers lay in the cafe doorway and Padrick 40 feet away in a hallway. Coroner Starr McMillan said Padrick was shot once between the shoulder blades and the time of death appeared to be around midnight.
