NCAA maps two year TV plan for 1960 61 football
The NCAA will draft a two year television program for 1960 and 1961 at a meeting of the 1960 television committee in Chicago. The plan aims for continuity of advertiser support with a potential five million dollar value, contrasting with a prior year’s year to year setup. Outside the Big Ten regional offerings look weak and a three million dollar Big Ten package seems unlikely to gain approval.
