Dr Richard Shumaker of Raleigh addressed about 40 residents from High Point and Greensboro at the January meeting of the Family Life Council of High Point. He warned families deteriorate from poor self concept and faulty communication and urged honest relationships through eye contact and affection. The talk noted society links, honesty, introspection and improved communication as remedies, with examples from Michigan and Florida counseling programs. Martha Yarborough presided. refreshments followed in the library.
