Nancy Ann Simmons of Omaha Nebraska crowned Miss Rodeo America 1967 after a field of 18 contestants. The University of Nebraska senior travels Nebraska shows in colorful riding outfits, plans a teaching career, and hopes to marry a farmer.
Miriam of Atlanta and Mrs. Ray Davis of High Point planned a wedding with attendants in cranberry velvet bodices, pink skirts, and velvet muffs. The groom’s grandfather H. A. Knight served as best man. ushers included relatives from Greensboro and Myrtle Beach. The bride, flight attendant for Eastern Air Lines, hails from Greensboro. the groom owns Gilbert’s Furniture House in High Point. They will reside at 1299 Norman Berry Dr. in Atlanta.
