In Spokane Washington on January 4 the Lewis and Clark back Fred Hunter was awarded a five and a half foot diameter sandwich after his team scored the first touchdown in the annual high school game between Spokane rivals. The massive sandwich weighed 150 pounds of hamburger plus oysters eggs and butter used to fry and seal the bun. Hunter shared the prize with students at a convocation celebrating the win.
