The Soviet lunar rocket faces several possible outcomes from the moon mission including orbiting the Moon, landing, or swinging past it. Instruments aboard aim to study the Moon’s core, radioactivity and its response to solar radiation to expand knowledge of space.
The Rev. Reginald Stone from Arlington Virginia will lead a revival at High Point Assembly of God Church from tomorrow through January 18. He speaks at 11 a.m. and 7 30 p.m. on Sundays and at 7 30 p.m. nightly except Mondays. The church, at 311 West High Street, is led by Pastor Rev Garland S Edmonds.
Faith Baptist Church will hold first services in a new church plant on Sunday morning. The building at the corner of Redding and Clenton streets was erected at an approximate cost of $30,000. Organized by the present pastor Rev. W. Murphy Cassell, the church has a growing membership.

Dr. James Cauthen executive secretary of the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention will address Lexington Avenue Baptist Church tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 7 30 p m. The talks will focus on missions and include a special offering toward Avenue Church's goal.

Frank Wilson, hospital administrator, said the intruder forced entry by breaking a screen and a glass pane, then passed the housemother’s room to reach the victim.

The craft will miss the moon by about 3 750 to 5 000 miles and has traveled 130 789 miles from Earth. The Kremlin predicts arrival near the moon around 11 p.m. EST, with no announced sun arrival time.
