Rotary in High Point marks 50 years of service club growth

The High Point Rotary Club celebrates its 50 year milestone aligning with Rotary International’s 50th anniversary. Founders in Chicago started the idea linking business and professional men as friends, with Greensboro aiding the local foundation and Carter Dalton as first president. The club's early days featured 20 charter members, notable presidents, and the 1920s surge followed by a lull, then growth and Ladies Night attendance records, reflecting the Rotary ideal of service through professional and community engagement.
