Trinity HS Students Sell Candy For Athletic Benefits
Trinity High School students are selling candy with profits going to the athletic department. The chocolate bars will be sold through March 18. FBLA participants earned multiple placements at District V, with Kathy Burr named Miss FBLA and Kim Allman winning public speaking. The group plans another convention in Charlotte in March and four students will compete in the Winsalom event.

Firemen Investigate Smoke Reports and Allege False Alarm
High Point firemen answered two smoke calls and one false alarm Thursday into today. At 2:18 a.m. they checked Southern Die Casting on Albertson Road where an oil fired furnace pilot went out causing smoke. A 3:12 a.m. call found no smoke at a home on Terrell Drive. A juvenile was arrested Thursday at 6:44 p.m. for allegedly sounding a box alarm on Amos Street. Additional call at 11:56 a.m. to Wesleyan Arms on Centennial Street due to automatic alarm activating from a mechanical defect. Notice to Creditors North Carolina Outrborough County executrix Grace C. Rogan, late of Guilford County, states creditors must present claims by April 4, 1977. Frances Grogan Hussey named as executor. Sprinkle Cotfield & Stackhouse represent the estate with address in High Point.
