Mrs. Carter's Sunday School Leads to Church Growth in NC
The effort began in 1929 when Mrs. C. B. Carter started a home Sunday School with 30 children. It expanded to a church with 14 charter members led by Rev. J. A. Clement and later Rev. M. C. Connor. The church expanded buildings and added a parsonage by 1948, reflecting steady growth under successive pastors.
