High Point To Get 17 Terms District Court
A General Assembly act would allocate 56 Superior court terms in Guilford county over two years with 39 in Greensboro and 17 in High Point. Greensboro would host 18 mixed and 21 civil terms. Two Oregon City Friends Die Together in Germany
Virgil Emil Houge of Oregon City and nearby David G. Jones entered the army the same day and trained together. Both joined the Timberwolf division in 1943 and went overseas in September, killed November 23 in Germany.
