Merchants in the campaign will issue 100 votes per dollar received on cash sales or accounts. Votes apply to all cash sales and collections. Special votes may be offered on select articles but no merchant will exceed 500 votes per dollar during the campaign.
A campaign offers a free trip to the three contestants with the most votes. Eligible candidates include any woman from High Point or the trade territory, excluding close relatives of merchants or employees involved. The promotion costs nothing to join and invites supporters to recruit friends and neighbors.
