Uncle Rays Corner reflects travels and notable meetings
In Lake City I met Homer In son, Salt Lake Tribune general manager, and a classmate from an eastern college. He spoke of Olympic ski tests, a famed 281 foot jump, and the Lake City paper's aim to benefit children. On the San Francisco train I met former President Herbert Hoover and discussed California’s mountains and bridges.
