Federal judge in Greensboro ordered Philadelphia Life Insurance to pay Mrs. Baxter Hayworth the face value of her husband’s policy minus unpaid premiums. A jury found no proof death was by own action, keeping the Lexington mystery surrounding his June death unresolved. Attorneys for the insurance firm were J. J. Parker and J. F. Spruill. Swink and Walser represented Mrs. Hayworth.
