Condemned Slayer Taken To Death Cell On Cot
Ira Harrison, condemned for the death of J. G. Arnette, a Columbia gasoline station owner, was moved to the death cell on a cot. He is expected to be executed by electric chair tomorrow, having remained unconscious since December 9 with small breaks. Co-defendants Frank M. Jeffords and Glenn Treece seek life sentences. Jeffords was electrocuted December 22 and Treece remains in prison.

Fire devastates Armour plant in South Omaha

The body of H. A. Grissom a Greensboro druggist is found in Thomas creek near Jacksonville identification made by clothing a watch and a chain. Grissom disappeared after visiting Jacksonville on January 18 with Mrs. Grissom and left for Atlanta. His automobile was later found in the creek with a search then conducted by dragging and dynamiting the stream.

In Little Rock on February 15 Eddie Reason, a black man, went on a stabbing spree in a residential area.
