Opening Of New Nurses Training School Today
High Point Memorial Hospital opens a new nurses school building on Boulevard near the hospital. The 308000 dollar facility includes classrooms laboratories living quarters a television den and library with plans for expanding enrollment to relieve a nursing shortage. Classes begin tomorrow after a 2 PM ceremony with hospital officials and auxiliaries conducting tours.

Teachers To Meet At UNC
Mathematics teachers from high schools statewide invited to attend the Mathematics Teachers Conference at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill on March 5 and 6. Dr W M Whyburn and Paul M Murphy issued the invitation in a joint letter and urged principals to release teachers. Miss Annie John Williams of Durham High School chairs the program committee.
