Trinity College Nine Plans Southward Tour Schedule
Trinity College diamond artists led by Red Ormand of Kings Mountain will tour the South starting this spring with 19 games on the slate and more to be arranged. The trip includes Furman Auburn Georgia Buffalo International at Angersop and Clemson among others with two home games before departure.

Woman's Missionary Society Plans NC Conference Meeting
Namie Henderson reports plans for the annual Woman's Missionary Society meeting of the North Carolina conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South to be held April 24 27 in Rocky Mount. The program is nearly set with three former North Carolina residents and other mission officials expected to attend. Total missions pledges reach about 86000 for the year with Treasurer Mrs F B Kinney of Louisburg noting strong conference support and anticipated improvements in fundraising and program reports.
