Pamela Brewer, 18, from Spield Virginia, was found guilty of indiscreet and inappropriate conduct by UF's faculty discipline committee after posing nude for a magazine photo spread off campus. The hearing drew about 200 students and moved to the Law School auditorium.

Hotel Blaze Kills Five In Joliet Fire
A downtown Joliet hotel fire killed five men and injured nine others, three critically, with one resident missing. Fire crews battled the Grand Hotel blaze from about 3 20 a m for more than three hours in 8 below zero weather. The hotel manager Robert Burnickey 21 said all 27 rooms were occupied mostly by men and the blaze was spotted by his wife Marge Burnickey 24 who woke to smoke and flames lingering at the rear hall.
