Salinger’s Son Leaps To Death On Golden Gate Bridge

Pierre Salinger’s son Marc, 28, jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge becoming the 591st known suicid, the Coast Guard recovered his body. A neighbor said Marc knew a survivor of the leap and cited deep distress after Kennedy and Robert Kennedy deaths. Marc studied journalism at NYU and interned for AP in 1972.
