Annual report to the Insurance Commissioner for 1917 covers High Point Perpetual Building and Loan Assn. in High Point North Carolina. It lists officers, salaries, cash balances, loans, installments, fines, and expenses, with figures for interest, mortgage loans, and stock activity.
A North Carolina building and loan firm discloses loan limits at about two thirds of valuation and the largest mortgage outstanding near 6000. The firm reports annual series issued on April 1 and October 1, about 83 months to maturity, profits not fully apportioned at series start, and monthly per share dues of 1 dollar.
