The body of Maggie Harper, 21, of Charlotte, N C, was found in her room at a Richmond boarding house. Coroner J M Whitfield said there was gas in the room but no gas poisoning. She had come to Richmond to escape an unwanted marriage and the name Mary Harper appeared on her belongings.
