High Point Men Held for Theft
Thomas Hagan and J H Gardner of High Point were arrested in Winston Salem on charges of stealing a Ford roadster owned by H J Gentry of Stokesdale. About $1300 was found on Gardner. They claim to be brothers in law and bought the car December 18 six miles from Greensboro. The car tires stolen from Gentry were found in the auto. They will be held for Rockingham county authorities.

The Interstate Commerce Commission required Western Union to extend credit on tolls for messages sent via Postal Telegraph. The ICC ruled that denying credit while giving it through Postal or to the same senders was unreasonable. New Year Service Planned at Wesley Memorial Church
