Mrs. Walter Smith and her two children Sally and Jimmy pedal a Saline Surrey around Mountain Lakes New Jersey. The four wheel vehicle is powered by the side passengers while the center rider steers. Originally bought for the children the family uses it to conserve fuel on short trips.
Georgette Foster of Greenville and Robert Shelton Hedrick of Greenville wed at Memorial United Methodist Church with vows at 6 30 pm. The bride wore a candlelight satin gown with lace details and a Juliet crown veil. Attendants wore wine colored gowns as family and friends attended. the couple will reside in Greenville after a reception at the Crown Room. Nancy Earle Hutto and James Clarence Doub of Baltimore were honored at two weekend events. Lewis, a Davidson College alumnus, is the son of Douglas Tapp Lewis of Richmond and recently retired as Burlington Industries director of Industrial Relations. A reception followed in Main Hall and the couple will reside at 106 Woodland Dr in Madison after January 6.
Mr and Mrs Norman Hekler of 508 Birchwood Dr announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Hedy Yvonne to Fred Harris Siegel son of Mr and Mrs Arthur Siegel of 2119 Hollybriar Pt in Norfolk Va The couple plan an Aug 4 1974 wedding at B nai Israel Synagogue Hedy graduates Emory University with a sociology BA this spring Fred also earns a BA in chemistry at Emory and will study at The Medical College of Virginia next fall

Cindy Brinkley is a Thomasville High School graduate and Rex Plastics receptionist. Jack Charles Taylor is a Thomasville High School and Davidson Community College graduate and a project engineer at Thomasville Furniture Industries.
CHAPPAQUA N Y Miss Bonnie Rea Kennedy daughter of Mr and Mrs James Dupong Kennedy announces engagement to David Garrett Wall son of Mr and Mrs John Anderson Wall of High Point North Carolina. The couple set to wed August 3 1974 at First Presbyterian Church Mt Kisco New York. Bonnie will graduate from Mary Baldwin College in May and David from Davidson College with Virginia Military Institute ties.

Jeanette Gescher, 35, left her husband Johan after spotting him in a public telephone booth with a young lady. Johan insisted they were wrestling not hugging, saying the girl entered while he was on a call to his boss and tried to grab the phone. Mrs Gescher urged him to give up the phone next time.
