The county tax office says the city of residence on January 1, 1969 determines where you list taxes. If High Point remains your city, list through the local office. If you have moved to Greensboro by then, list there.
The letter explains why chain letters are illegal and dangerous. It notes most participants lose money, originators profit, and many send quarters without returns. It warns against repeating schemes and suggests reporting misconduct such as barrier-jumping at a hospital gate.
