105 Year Old Louisville Workhorse Never Quit
Harry Lee Harris died at 105 in Louisville after a life spent working from farm labor in Georgia to a housing authority custodian. He earned praise in the Congressional Record for lifelong service, continued odd jobs after retirement, and spoke of growing up as the child of formerly enslaved parents. He recalled farm life, schooling setbacks, and strong views on education, family, and community.
