Notable defendants include rad Allred charged with whisky sale from two founts and retailing whisky, and receiving more than one quart in fifteen days. Traegt Gurton faced auto operation charges. Wesley lainlin and Frescoe John, both Negroes, were found guilty of affray and fined $16 plus half costs.

An automobile driven by a man named Hall collided with a team of horses at the corner of Lindsay and English streets near Suniny Side Ice & Fuel Co yesterday. A Christmas program at the Friends church in Springfield features a Bethlehem manger scene performed by Sunday school members. Songs and stories of the Christ child accompany the Nativity with a highlight of white gifts carried by a selected child in white wrapping to the manger.

Property known as Ragane's Estate on the Archdale road near the city will be sold at auction Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The sale will be conducted by Penny brothers. It was announced the property is to be sold by order of the court and will be disposed of absolutely without regard to price.
