Open House Set At Oak View Methodist Church Parsonage
Oak View Methodist Church invites the public to an open house for its new seven room brick parsonage at 506 Oak View Rd from 3 to 5 p m Sunday December 16. The home sits on land donated by T R Galloway and the late Mrs. Galloway. Builders Reid and Wall finished the house begun in August 1962. The Parsonage Committee led by Mrs Ben Farthing and assisted by Mrs David Wagoner and Mrs Blanche Kemp coordinated furnishings. Rev Robert Hardee serves as pastor and will reside with his wife and two children Harriette and Robert in the new home.

Guilford Center to Offer Introduction to Data Processing
Jamestown report notes Guilford Industrial Education Center will begin an 80 hour class in computer programming as applied to data processing using the IBM 1401. Christmas Supper Held By Church
Pleasant Grove Methodist Church held its fourth annual Christmas supper in Thomasville on Friday evening at Swicegoods Barbecue. Rev. John H. Carper district superintendent delivered the Christmas message in what was his last official visit before a June transfer. The meeting was called to order by chairman J. W. Sowers, with Rev. John Nelson, pastor, delivering the welcome.

Alma Deck Co. alarm triggered by a frozen sprinkler pipe showed no fire.
