Funeral services for Louis D. Kernkamp 63 of 203 Thurston Street will be held Sunday at 4 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He died in St. Leo's Hospital two hours after a head on collision with a car driven by Charles E. Terry Jr. near Greensboro on the Greensboro to Reidsville road. Terry was killed instantly. Kernkamp, sales manager for Clover Brand Dairies, had worked there two years after previously serving as general sales manager for Biltmore Dairies. Surviving is his widow formerly Miss Henrietta Willman. The body was brought here last night and will be shipped to New York City for burial.
