TV Proposal Deplored By Lawyers
CHICAGO AP The American Bar Association said on Saturday it deplores proposals to televise the trial of Jack Ruby killer of President Kennedy’s alleged assassin. A televised trial would lead to sensationalism and impair the judicial process the ABA said in a statement. It argued the publicizing of Oswald’s guilt has damaged criminal justice and could hinder Oswald’s lawful trial by prejudicing jurors.
