South West Pass Opening in Bridge Contract

The best line for the declarer is to lead a diamond and finesse at once. If it fails, a spade finesse is forced. A successful diamond sequence may allow ruffing, trumping, and possible king drops, aiming to avoid opponents taking more than the king of spades. A spade finesse first risks a spade return from West and jeopardizes the contract.
