Miss Baar daughter of Mr and Mrs Stuart P Baar Jr of Grand Rapids Michigan and Lennox Hubbard Lindsay III of Hendersonville were married at St Christopher's Episcopal Church The 10 o'clock ceremony was officiated by Rev James Michael Coram The couple donated the crystalline glazed pottery vessels used in the service to the church The bride wore an apricot hooded kaftan of sali silk with gold threads The maid of honor was Leslie Année Baar of Marblehead Massachusetts Best man was John K Anderson The bride holds multiple advanced degrees and has worked as a children's librarian The groom a professional potter studied at NC State University Wright State University and the River Bend Arts and Crafts Center He will exhibit his work next spring in High Point The couple will reside in Hendersonville after a wedding trip to the Shenandoah Mountains Attending were family and out-of-town guests at a reception at Old Salem Tavern in Winston-Salem
