Man Falls From Hotel In Charlotte
A Columbia D C man Melvin L Miller Jr aged 24 fell from the 14th floor balcony of a Charlotte Sheraton hotel. An autopsy was ordered to determine whether death was by suicide accident or foul play. His body was found embedded in the tar and travel roof of the canopy over the entrance. Police said a guest saw the body at about 10 a m Sunday and the medical examiner ruled death from impact with no other wounds. Detectives doubted jumping could land on the roof directly below.
