Mrs Clyde A Lambert dies at 51 in Moses Cone Hospital
Mrs Wilma Drum Lambert 51 wife of Clyde A Lambert Route 12 Reidsville died Friday after a 20 day hospital stay. Native of Catawba County co owner and manager of Lambert's Barbecue member of First Baptist Church Reidsville. Survived by husband three sons Alex Kenneth and Roger Lambert mother Mrs P A Drum three sisters and one brother. Funeral set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Street Chapel.

Children Are Hurt In Wreck
A one year old boy and a three year old girl were injured in separate Friday accidents. Jerry Allen Green 1 of Beaucrest Avenue was hurt when a car driven by Anita Cecil Green collided with a vehicle driven by Leland Stanley Averett III. Sylvia Ann Morris 3 of S Elm Street was struck after she bolted into the path of a car driven by Johnny Dwayne Flannery 20 of Lexington NC. No charges were filed.

Thieves Steal 900 In Goods From Glenola Station
A Glenola 76 service station was broken into between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Sheriff Lloyd Brown reported tires valued at 200 dollars and tools worth 700 dollars were taken, with Deputy Maness finding the door open at 1:30 a.m. No method of entry was determined.

High Point police logged several minor thefts Friday including cash, a rooster, clothing, car parts and purses. Suspects in DUI, assault and public drunkenness cases were named along with three juveniles charged with assault.
