Chicago August 18 A report on lamb prices notes supply has shrunk since 1942. Lamb chops and leg of lamb carry high retail costs as the U S sheep population fell from 56 213 000 head in 1942 to 31 963 000 in 1949. Experts warn no quick rebound in numbers.
