Fradley Elder Wedding at Archdale Church
The Fradley Elder wedding took place at Archdale Church with Rev. Ivan Stevens officiating. Bride Miss Elder, daughter of E Clark Elder of Baker Road, wore a tafetta gown with peau d’ange lace and a detachable watteau train, gift from her father. Bridegroom Mr. Thomas C. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Billings Montana, and attendants including matron of honor Mrs. Richard Maultsby and Maids Miss Jeanette Elder Miss Linda Jarrell Miss Judith Mobley Miss Elizabeth Turner. Organist Mrs. Richard Charleville and soloist Robert Murray provided music. Contact listed relatives and guests included Neuris English and Jim Steinmetz. The couple both hold degrees from East Carolina College and Montana State University Missoula. The ceremony featured white gladioli and pompoms with cathedral candles and lila accents.
