Youth Keeps Vigil Over Mother Four Days In Savannah
In Savannah Georgia a five year old boy named Tommy guarded his mother Marion Anderson who shot herself in her bedroom. Coroner Harold Smith reports the woman died Wednesday and friends found the body Saturday night. The child survived on food from the ice box and used a fly swatter to guard his mother as he slept. Mrs Anderson was married to a merchant seaman aboard the S S Pan American.
