Youths Urged to Resist Draft at SCLC Conference
Fayette Mississippi will host a speech by Kilgore of Los Angeles at the SCLC 12th annual convention. Abernathy said the youth should aid the peace effort and consider refusing the draft. Kilgore urged drawing on top minds to shape a department of peace within the draft system. The aim is to teach young people to stand on their own feet and say they will not kill.
