Young Bride Dies of Poliomyelitis in Garden City Home
Mrs. Frank Page age 24, formerly Miss Katherine Sefton, died of poliomyelitis at 2 p.m. Saturday in her Garden City, Long Island home after falling ill Wednesday. Doctors used serum treatment but prognosis remained poor as adult poliomyelitis is harder to treat. Ambassador Page, her father-in-law, canceled a Washington trip to remain nearby and attend private funeral planned in Garden City on Tuesday.
