Five Victims Found Slain In Bel Air Home

Raids Hit Two North Vietnamese Units North of Saigon

The U S 1st Air Cavalry Division the 7th Armored Cavalry and the South Vietnamese 25th Division pursued remnants of two NVA units driven from hiding near Saigon after the largest B 52 raids in five weeks. Over 100 northern troops were exposed, four killed and six captured, with no U S casualties. Air power and ground forces pressed the chase six to seven five miles north of Saigon near The Hook along the Cambodian border.

State CAP In Search For Missing Plane

Three planes from the North Carolina Wing of the Civil Air Patrol flew six sorties Saturday in the search for a plane missing on a flight from West Palm Beach Florida to Flemington New Jersey. Maj. John Brigham said the aircraft with two aboard left Florida City August 3 about 8 p.m. and was never heard from again.
