Woman Robs Gibson Bank Then Car Found Later
A small neatly dressed woman robbed the Commercial State Bank of Laurinburg in Gibson taking 15400 after producing a .38 pistol. Police later found the getaway car two miles away on a rural road, registered to Bonnie Stephens of Fayetteville. Officers described the suspect as about 25, five foot two, dark hair, courteous but nervous about the weapon.
