Death prediction charge dropped in North Carolina case
State officials dropped charges against 48 year old Joann Denton of practicing fortune telling after evidence showed she did not predict a death but felt a death presence at a seance. Assistant District Attorney Bob Grant said Fred Ramsey supplied the details of who would die and the manner, and that Denton only adopted Ramsey’s vision. The seance related to Dorothy Ramsey who died after an overdose. Gardner added the warrant was based on hearsay with no sworn statements.

Nurses Win Six Month Contract After North Carolina Strike
