Paris April 23. A steady drift toward Premier Poincare in the upheaval surrounding his foes was reported today as eight districts remained. The premier appeared certain to gain a majority in the deputies to push his financial rehabilitation program. One hundred seventy nine deputies were elected in the first round. The government was sure of 130 and counted on 13 more to support it. In at least 425 constituencies a candidate had the necessary majority for election and a vote will be taken Sunday for the rest. The eight missing constituencies are in the colonies.
